Florida Recreation and Park Association Virtual Education Series

NDRPA is happy to partner with the Florida Recreation and Park Association (FRPA) to bring you convenient virtual education sessions held January through March.  Each session costs $20 per NDRPA member. Topics include becoming a person of influence, how to deal with difficult people, understanding gender identity and expression, and more.

IPRA Skills Development Webinar Series

NDRPA is excited to partner with Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) to offer NDRPA members the Skills Development Webinar Series. The series features nationally-known speakers and leaders in the field of parks and recreation. When you sign up for the series, you receive access to 11 one-hour webinars. This includes one live webinar per month from February through December and access to the previously recorded webinars for that year. Topics include leadership, growing beyond your comfort zone, emerging technologies, delegating effectively, unconscious bias, and more.

HOW TO WATCH

Webinars are delivered via Zoom. Attendees can participate from a computer, laptop, or any smart device. Logins may be used from one computer for individuals or multiple devices for group participation. Subscribers will have access to all 2023 recordings until January 31, 2024. Instructions on how to access 2023 recordings throughout the year will be provided.

 

CEUs

The series is approved for a total of 1.1 CEUs, or 0.1 per month (continuing education units are for CPRE and CPRP Certification). Instructions on how to obtain monthly CEUs will be provided.

IPRA 2023 CPRE Virtual Exam Preparation Program

NDRPA is excited to partner with Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) to offer NDRPA members the CPRE Virtual Exam Preparation Program. NPRA’s Certified Park and Recreation Executive (CPRE) certification establishes a national standard for managerial, administrative, and executive park and recreation professionals. This is a nationally accredited mastery-level certificate, and its the highest level a park and recreation professional can achieve. Classes taught by Katie Troline (GoldMedal Force, LLC) and Mike Selep (NWCSRA).

IPRA 2023 CPRP Virtual Exam Preparation Program

 

NDRPA is excited to partner with Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) to offer NDRPA members the 2023 CPRP Virtual Exam Preparation Program. Certified Park and Recreation Professional, or CPRP, is a national certification program through the National Recreation and Park Association, and it is designed for park and recreation professionals that wish to put their career on the path to success. IPRA is offering two virtual exam prep programs with six classes each that will train and prepare participants to sit for the CPRP exam. Each class will focus on a specific learning module found in the CPRP study guide. Classes taught by Katie Troline (Gold Medal Force, LLC).
