Silent Auction Items Requested
Each park district is encouraged to bring at least one silent auction item valued at $50 or more to raise funds for NDRPA’s scholarships.
Keynote Speakers
Jayni Rasmussen manages the advocacy efforts for the National Recreation and Park Association, where she started and continues to coordinate NRPA’s award-winning grassroots advocacy program, the Park Champion initiative. Prior to joining NRPA in 2014, Jayni worked on policy and stakeholder relations on the Smart Ocean Planning team at Ocean Conservancy. A proud Cleveland, Ohio, native and graduate of Kent State University, she holds a B.A. in Political Science. Jayni lives in Washington, D.C., and can often be found in her local park with her partner, Marshall, and her dog, Lola.
Brian Miller is a facilitator and life coach with 35 years of building high trust cultures through leadership development. Brian creates an environment that thrives on unity, profitable results and motivating people with a foundation of understanding new perspectives. He is an international speaker, dedicated to helping humanity identify personal belief systems and sharpen talents through experiential learning. Brian inspires people while sharing visionary solutions to everyday problems, based on human behavior, communication and leadership styles. Brian is the inventor of 52 products, sailed for 8 years and has two degrees in Philosophy and English. He lives with his wife Karen in Oregon, facilitating classes with his company, IAM Seminars – delivering a passionate message with truth, compassion and fun!
