2024 HR Collaborative Conference

April 17 - April 18

Register today for the HR Collaborative for Local Government’s Biennial Conference April 17-18, at the Bismarck Hotel and Conference Center. The conference is designed to support employees who perform human resource management responsibilities. All local government employees are welcome to attend. The conference will feature keynote speaker Jackie Stebbins, lawyer, mother, wife, and autoimmune encephalitis survivor, who will kick it off with a powerful message about resilience. Led by subject-matter experts, the conference’s breakout sessions will discuss emerging and trending human resource management topics, including mental health, attracting workforce, employee retention, AI, and more. The schedule also includes the popular Building Your HR System series to help refresh knowledge on public processes and human resource management topics.

The HR Collaborative for Local Government (HR Collaborative) is an NDIRF program that aims to strengthen human resource management within North Dakota local governments by providing affordable training and resources to meet the specific needs of local government HR professionals. HR Collaborative membership is free for all North Dakota local government entities. Established in 2008 through grant funding awarded by the Otto Bremer Foundation, the HR Collaborative has provided human resource management training and resources to more than 800 North Dakota local government HR departments through its biennial conference, virtual workshop series, and HR Reference Guide.
