2026 NDRPA State Conference
The NDRPA State Conference will be held in Dickinson Sept. 15-17. North Dakota park and recreation professionals are invited to gather with their peers from across the state for educational sessions and fun networking opportunities

REGISTRATION
Register online or, if you have a large group registration, submit the group registration form (Excel) to the NDRPA office. The registration deadline is Aug. 28.
Please note: registration is open to government and nonprofit entities. Commercial organizations are invited to participate in the conference as exhibitors. Please see exhibitor information below.
SCHOLARSHIPS FOR SMALL PARK BOARDS
NDRPA is pleased to announce five conference registration scholarships are available to park board commissioners or staff from park districts that have up to 2 full-time, year-round staff. The scholarship is limited to two people per park district and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If a park district submits more than two scholarship requests, additional requests will be placed on a waiting list to be awarded after Aug. 14. To request a scholarship, contact the NDRPA office at 701-355-4458.
ACCOMMODATIONS
A room block has been reserved at the host hotel, Roosevelt Grand Dakota Hotel, 532 15th St. W. The awards banquet, NDRPA Annual Meeting and education sessions will take place there.

Each exhibit booth fee includes a full conference pass, including all meals for one exhibitor representative. Additional exhibitor passes are $120 each.

Kurt Skinner
Kurt Skinner, Theodore Roosevelt Historical Performer
Kurt Skinner is a former “missileer” at Minot Air Force Base who has studied Theodore Roosevelt more more than 20 years and co-hosts a weekly podcast called “Talk About Teddy.”
Skinner performs “The Strenuous Life” at the Old Town Hall Theater in Medora and leads guided walking tours to site around the town. He connects children to Teddy’s story through his Rough Rider Recruiting program.
TUESDAY HIGHLIGHTS
Attendees can choose between playing 18 holes of golf at Heart River Golf Course in Dickinson taking an exclusive self-guided tour of the new Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora.
Tuesday night’s social and dinner will take place at Legacy Square in Dickinson.
